The photos were scanned from 35mm slides that
my dad took in the army while in
Vietnam. The original slides were processed at the Kodak
laboratory in Honolulu Hawaii. I had them scanned at
Color Genesis in Atlanta, who
did an excellent job. Many of the original slides have turned
blue, they lost some of their green and red components, and were
adjusted as much as possible. I edited them with Paint Shop Pro
by
Jasc Software. Most photo
editing programs will allow you to adjust the color levels. You
will notice that some of the slides still have a bluish tint.
Some of the slides were Kodachrome and some were Ektachrome. If
you are interested in having your own slides scanned or published on
the web, and have any questions, please feel free to
contact me.
